Can Windows 11 run Android apps natively?

Yes! Windows 11’s official release is slated to run Android apps natively on the platform. According to Microsoft, you will be able to download, install and use Android apps directly from the Microsoft Store. Microsoft has partnered with the Amazon Appstore to provide native integration for Android app downloads in the Microsoft store.

Microsoft even showcased a few Android apps running on Windows 11 natively including the popular social media platform TikTok on their June 24 event where they announced Windows 11. The tech giant is using Intel Bridge technology to power Android apps on Windows 11.

Can you run Android apps on Windows 11?

Yes! You can easily run Android apps on Windows 11. However, you will need the latest stable release which is slated for the public later this year. However, if you wish to try out the new OS then we recommend enrolling for Windows Insider builds. Windows 11 is slated for an insider release later next week.

If however, you’re looking for Android app support in the leaked version of Windows 11 then you’re out of luck. The leaked version contains the old Windows 10 store which does not yet have the ability to install Android apps.
